Regular activities:
1. Daily lecture after Maghrib salat – 30 minutes (including Islamic history, seerat of the prophet, the lives of the sahaba-companions)
    Monday – Ahmed Veknache – Seerat of the Prophet
    Tuesday – Dr. Othman Al Alamy – Stories of the Sahabah-companions
    Wednesday – Imam Refai Arefin – Lessons from the Qur’an and Sunnah
    Thursday – Muhammad Muntasir – Lessons in Islam
    Friday – Imam Refai – Lessons from the Qur’an and Sunnah
    Saturday – Maghrib to Esha – Tafseer of the Qur’an – Muhammad Ghonaim

2. Sisters Tajweed classes – Friday at 7pm to 8pm
3. Sisters halaqa group – Sister Urooj – Every other Saturday (4/6, 4/20 etc) 12noon to 2pm at Old masjid building.
4. Arabic classes – Imam Refai Arefin – Sunday 1:30pm to 3:00pm – Registration closed

Sunday School Registration for 2013/2014 Academic Year

We are happy to announce that we have further improved our registration process this year. We are not only starting the registration early but have also optimized the steps for everyone’s convenience. Wraparirlipa The registration will be done on assigned days starting at 11:00am sharp and ending at 12:30pm.

The registration period is March 17 through June 2. However, we will NOT be registering any NEW families during the period of March 17-May 19 as this is exclusively for the existing/returning students. New families will only be able to register on June 2nd based on the space availability in a given class. Please NOTE that if you miss your registration date you have a chance to late-register on June 2 with a late penalty of $25/family.

For registering pre-K students, please bring their proof of age (e.g. passport copy or birth certificate). For pre-K, the children must have turned 4 years old before December 31, 2013.

Please also note the new tuition structure which includes the cost of books.

Following, are the new registration policies:

1) Registration for the returning families will be March 17 through May 19 with June 2 as the late registration day. There will be no registration on graduation day which is June 9.

2) Registration for the returning families is split into four groups based on their last names. Each group will have two Sundays to register their children. (Please see item 8 below)

3) The completed registration of returning families and the class room capacities will determine the number of new students that can be accepted in each grade.

4) On June 2nd, parents who missed their assigned registration weeks can do late registration with an additional $25/ family.

5) There will also be registration during the first two weeks of the new academic year with additional fee of $25/ child (NOT $25/ family), depending on the classroom capacity.

6) The cost of books has been added to the registration fee. The students will be provided these books during their first class instead of parents picking these up from the office.

7) Tuition for 2013/ 14 academic School year:

  • a) Per family (Household): $240 for one child, $320 for two children, $390 for three children, $460 for four children, $530 for five children and so on.
  • b) Parents are expected to pay the outstanding balance from the previous year before registering for the new year 2013-14.
  • c) Parents can pay the full tuition when registering (highly encouraged) or they can pay in two equal installments, one at the time of registration and the other half in January.

8) Registration dates for academic year 2013-14:

  • a) March 17 and March 24: Families’ last names starting with A and B
  • b) March 31 and April 7: Families’ last names starting with C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J
  • c) April 14: (Spring Break – No School)
  • d) April 21 and April 28: Families’ last names starting with K, L, M, and N
  • e) May 5: Walk Against Hunger- Classes are held- No Registration.
  • f) May 12 and May 19: Families’ last names starting with O, Q, P, R, S, T, U, W, Y, and Z
  • g) May 26: (ICNA Conference – No School)
  • h) June 2: Registration for new families or late registration for returning families
