Alhamdulillah – Ramadan is only a few weeks away – here is what we have prepared for you. Please enjoy the blessings of this month in the house of Allah!
Saturday June 6th – Evening with the Qur’an in preparation for Ramadan – Imam Refai Arefin with Imam Bashir Lubanga, Imam Muhammad Abdul Aati and Hafidh Muhammad Abdul Qadir. It will be a beautiful evening of reciting Qur’an and Tafseer of some verses of the Qur’an – 6pm to 8:30pm in the main masjid musallah hall! Fundraiser for Syria – June 13th 6pm to 8:30pm – With Mayor Khairallah and Watan USA – Food will be provided. Please buy tickets through the masjid or email Sr. Ghoufran freesyria34111@gmail.com
Ramadan begins – Thursday 18th June (Tharaveeh will be on the night of the 17th – Wednesday Inshah-Allah). Tharaveeh will begin promptly after Salat-ul Esha which will be prayed at the time of the Azan for Esha! Sheikh Syed Faraghali will lead Tharaveeh!
Youth programs will be on Saturday June 20th (5:30pm to 8:30pm), Sunday June 28th (see below) and Saturday July 4th (5:30pm to 8:30pm)

Qur’an competition – Saturday June 27th from 1pm to 5:30pm Inshah-Allah – rules will be on the masjid notice board
Every Friday and Saturday there will be a community Iftar – please sign up at the masjid if you would like to pay for a slot on the Iftar and dinner roster. We will have only a few $500 dollar slots available – please sign up early.
The 20th of Ramadan will be on July 7th – we will have midnight lectures on odd nights of the last 10 nights of Ramadan by Imam Refai, Sheikh Sami and Chaplain Iskander Inshah-Allah (July 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th nights)
Ramadan masjid fundraiser – Saturday July 11th – “Seeking Blessings Through Giving!” 6pm to 8:30pm Inshah-Allah
Eid ul Fitr – Friday 17th July – Prayer times will be 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30am
