September at Berlin masjid – Sunday school, Arabic classes and Qur’an classes begin

Alhamdulillah – after a wonderful summer break we are having more activities at the masjid and would love to have you join us.
Iqama times are:
Fajr – Half hour after Adhan time, Dhuhr – 1:00pm, Asar – 5:30pm, Maghrib – sunset and Isha – 10 minutes after the Adhan (summer time)

EID UL ADHA: THE DATE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE DATE OF ARAFAT IN SAUDI ARABIA. ONCE KNOWN I WILL SEND ANOTHER E-MAIL: 1ST PRAYER AT 7AM AT BERLIN MASJID; 2ND PRAYER AT XL-CENTER AT 10AM. THERE WILL BE A CHARGE TO OFFSET THE COST OF THE RENTAL.

Iftar will be served as we are encouraged to fast these first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. Our involvement in the voting process is vital as our future in the USA is determined by our participation. 4. Saturday September 24th– A Happy Marriage – In light of the Qur’an and Sunnah. From Maghrib to Esha. Mufti Ruhul Amin Qasmi and Mufti Noman Vazir Qasmi – Shariah Board of New York. Sunday School starts Sunday September 4th at 10am. Please stay for Dhuhr Salat so your children benefit from the youth centered prayer and learning experience of this.
Qur’an class starts with registration and first class on Thursday September 8th from 6pm to 7:30pm. Classes will be every Monday and Thursday. Cost $20 each student.
Arabic classes start Saturday 3rd September9am to 11am. Registration and first class on the 3rd. Cost $100 a semester (till December) Two levels. Intermediate with Imam Refai and advanced with Sr. Ghoufran.
