Assalaamu-alaikum,
I want to welcome Sheikh Faragali who has arrived from Egypt to lead Tharaveeh in Ramadan. Imam Refai and Imam Mahfuz will partake in the spiritual programming as will Sheikh Sami Shamma and Muhammad Ghonaim and Muhammad Jarrar.
I welcome you all to the beautiful month of Ramadan! The month of the Qur’an. May Allah bless you this month through your prayer, charity and fasting and most importantly the benefit of making you a better person in every way.
Friday May 26th will be the first night of Ramadan and Tharaweeh will start immediately after Salat-ul-Isha – which is at 9:51pm.
The first fast will be on Saturday May 27th.
There will be a child care program from ages 4 to 10yrs with activities in the basement of the masjid. If your children are under 4 they have to be accompanied by their mother in the prayer area in the basement. Special facilities are available for them there.
Every night there will be a khatira (5 minutes) after 8 raka’at. After that Sheikh Faragali will continue to lead Tharaveeh for 20 raka’at.
Please keep hydrated. We will have water in coolers for you. We only ask that you bring your bottles so that we don’t leave a negative carbon foot-print. Make this a GREEN RAMADAN!
Zakat-ul Fitr s $10 per person in your family.
DAILY – Fajr 15 minutes after the Adhan, Dhuhr – 1:30pm, Asar 5:30pm, Maghrib at sunset and Esha immediately after the Adhan.
WEEKLY – Every Saturday from 5::30pm till Iftar there will be a youth program. Please send your youth to participate in this. Starts Saturday May 27th Inshah-Allah.
Every Friday and Saturday – there will be a community Iftar. Please join us for this. If you would like to contribute to this effort – please sign up the poster in the masjid – $500 a slot.

Qur’an competition will be on Saturday June 10th 1:30pm to 5:30pm
Qatam-ul Qur’an will be on the night of June 23rd when the awards for the Qur’an competition will also be distributed.
