Originally founded in 1989, the Islamic Association of Greater Hartford is one of the first Islamic centers in the State of Connecticut. Established on the goal of serving as the center of Muslim life in CT, it has pursued its mission by providing all facets of religious programming, education, community services to all Muslims. In addition, the IAGH has played a seminal role in raising awareness of Islam and its tenets by promoting peace, understanding and worship of the One God through regular open houses, outreach events and interfaith activities.
