According the Fiqh Council of North America  Eid ul-Fitr for the year 1431 AH is 

       1st of Shawwal, which marks the start of Eid ul-Fitr, will be on Friday, September 10, 2010. Insha’Allah.

Prayerswill take place at the Berlin Masjid. Times for prayers are scheduled as follows:
·       First prayer:           7:00am                 Takbir
                                         7:30am Sharp      Salat
·       Second prayer:    8:30am                  Takbir
                                         9:00am Sharp      Salat
·       Third prayer:       10:30am                 Takbir
                                       11:00am Sharp     Salaat

      Please note that parking is limited. If you are going to pray either at7:00amor8:30am, we ask you to leave as soon as the prayer and the Khutba are over to allow others that are coming for later prayers space to park.
 
Zakaatu Al-Fitr (Fitrana) is a minimum of$10 per person in the household including young children to be paid before Salaat El- Eid inshaallah.
 
Donations for the new Masjidand the full time Imam will be collected inshallah. Please donate generously during this blessed time of the year. May God bless you for your work for the pleasure of Allah.
 
Parking:
We have been trying to find parking alternatives to those that are coming for Eid prayers. Please note the following locations:
a.    Berlin Masjid parking and in the overflow parking land
b.    2447 Berlin Turnpike, Mount Royal Motel - please carpool.
Please note there is no parking on the street or the grass of the highway. The police, state troopers and town personal will be around to make sure of our safety and the safety of others. They will make sure that we follow the city's regulations. Please follow the proper regulations and listen to those that we are assigning to be in charge of the parking. Please note that no one will be allowed to park on the streets even partially or to block the neighbors' driveways. Let us make our holiday a safe and happy one inshallah.
 
The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut is planning an Eid Carnival for every one, onSunday September 12th, 2010 between 11am and 8pm at Lake Compound, New England's Family Theme Park in Bristol, CT. Tickets: $29.50 per person including Halal lunch; or $15 per person without lunch. Children under 4 years old can enter free. Parking is free. Please purchase the tickets by September 5th(this Sunday) or you have to pay the higher regular prices at the door.
