Over the past 10 years of his presidency, the masjid (alhamdulillah first) has seen great growth in attendance and activities. We pray to Allah for his safe return from Umrah. Please congratulate Sr. Vareesha Rahman on joining as an Associate Board member. Vareesha has been part of the IAGH community for 23 years. She was a student at the IAGH Sunday School and part of the Muslim Youth Association of CT. After graduating Sunday School, Vareesha continued to participate in the school by becoming a Sunday School Teacher. She graduated with her bachelors from UCONN in Human Development and Family Studies and completed her Masters at CCSU in Counseling Education and Mental Health. She pursued a career in School Counseling and works as an elementary school counselor in the Waterbury School District. Also, please join us in dua for Imam Farghali who is visiting his ill family in Egypt. Inshallah, he will return on November 11. Monthly Potluck – 11/19 featuring “33 on the Curv Open House”. This is our new Youth Center. Please join to tour the Center and meet the youth team behind its development. (Geared towardsCollege and young professionals) Sunday 11/13 – 2pm to 3pm Young Muslima Halaqa (geared towards middle and high school students and young professionals) – with Sr. Enas Fridays 11/4 & 11/18 – Before Jumua Salat at 11:45 am Prophetic Series for sisters (geared towards middle school, high school and young professionals) – with Sr Enas There will be a khatira on Thursdays after Isha Salat with Imam Faragali (after his return on 11/10) Saturday mornings youth and new Muslim tafsir class -7am – high school and college students are welcome! This is a youth oriented tafsir class led by Dr. Mansoor. New converts are also welcome to participate. Qur’an classes Mondays and Thursdays – 6pm to 7:30pm. Contact Br.
