IAGH Statement on the attacks on Jews during Hanukah Celebration and on Christians in Texas
The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford Statement on the attacks on Jews during Hanukah Celebration and on Christians in Texas during worship:
The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford strongly condemns the vicious attacks on Jews in NYC during Hanukkah celebration and on the Christian worshipers at the West Freeway Church of Christ in Texas. We stand in support of our Jewish and Christian brothers and sisters against hate and bigotry.
Our hearts and prayers go to the families and friends of the victims of these senseless attacks.
We must stand together to oppose violence, hate and the targeting of places of worship. People of any faith tradition must feel safe and free to worship in their places of worship without fear or intimidation.
The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford remains committed to confront anti- Semitism, Islamophobia and all forms of hatred.
IAGH Statement on Jersey City Kosher Supermarket Attack
The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford condemns in the strongest possible terms the horrific deadly attack at the Jersey City Kosher Supermarket in New Jersey. We stand with all Americans in support of our Jewish brothers and sisters and against Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and any form of hatred against any group of people. We at the Islamic Association of Greater Hartford offer our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the families of the victims. Such targeted hateful acts are contradictory to our American values and we must stand together in solidarity with the Jewish community. As a nation, we are stronger united, not divided.
