Fundraiser Postponed, School Cancelled, Yusuf Estes at Berlin Mosque

Please know that the Fundraiser tomorrow is postponed for Saturday February 23rd at 5:30pm. Due to the beginning of the snow/ice storm we would want you to be safe.

Sunday School is also cancelled January 20th
On Friday January 25th Sheikh Yusuf Estes will deliver the Jumua Khotba and give a lecture after Maghrib Salat. Food will be catered and we will have a fundraiser for the Rohingya Muslims. May Allah make us an ummah that feels the pain of every single one of us.

Statement in Support of the Jewish Community of Pittsburgh

The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford, Berlin, Connecticut stands in solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters of Pittsburgh and Jews all over the world against hate and violence. We condemn the hateful attack on worshipers during the sabbath at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. We want to offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of all those who were killed or injured during that heinous attack. Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and other forms of hatred and bigotry are contradictory to our American values. As a nation, we are stronger united, not divided.
