Eid ul Adha – Tuesday October 15, 2013

Based on Saudi announcement of the first of Dhul Hijah – Eid ul Adha is on October 15th.
Takbeer times will be at 7am, 9am and 11am. Salat times will be half hour after the Takbeer times.
We will collect Korbani meat in the masjid and distribute it to the poor and needy in our community. We will do this in coordination with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). The masjid is open from 4:30pm to 8:30pm daily and will be available to accept meat at this time.
The day of Arafat will be on Monday the 14th of October – it is highly recommended that we fast on this day.
The first ten days of the month of Dhul Hijjah (between today and the 15th of October – day of Eid) are the greatest days of the Islamic year. It is highly recommended to spend your days in increased prayers, supplication, remembrance of Allah and in fasting!
Please donate generously in this month – there are many needy in our community that are in desperate need of our assistance. The masjid is also run on your donations. Please donate on these blessed days!
There will be no Sunday school on the 13th of October.
After Sunday school on the 20th of October there will an ice cream and cup cake celebration of Eid for the youth Inshah-Allah! Please allow your children to enjoy Eid at Berlin masjid.
