The Day of Arafat (Monday) and Eid ul Adha (Tuesday)

Assalaamu-alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
As our brothers and sisters who are on the blessed pilgrimage – gather in the plains of Arafat tomorrow, on the most powerful day of the Hajj and Allah descends to the lowest heaven accepting their supplication and they spend the day in supplication, in remembrance of Allah in begging Allah for his forgiveness – let us all spend this day in fasting and remembrance of Allah in solidarity with them and in the hope that we will be there in Arafat next year and let us, especially those who have not gone make sincere plans to be there next year. The day of Arafat will be Monday the 14th of October.
Eid at Berlin masjid (1781 Berlin Turnpike, Berlin) will be celebrated on Tuesday the 15th – Eid Mubarak to you all!
Takbeer times will be at 7am9am and11am – prayer times will be half hour after the takbeer times.
Please plan to be there early. Part of the etiquette of being in the house of Allah is parking appropriately. Please follow the many ushers that will direct you to park legally and with due consideration to the needs of others. May Allah bless those who are helpful to others!
At Berlin masjid we are collecting the poor due of Udhiyah and will distribute it to the poor on your behalf. Please bring your meat in one pound bags and place it in the freezer.
On Eid day we will also be collecting donations for the masjid – suggested donation $20 and we will be collecting Zakat-ul mal for the poor. There are many very poor brothers and sisters that are in dire need and we ask you to please donate generously so Allah will be generous towards you – Inshah-Allah!
I wish you all a blessed Eid – Eid Mubarak!
Wassalaam,
Reza Mansoor
