Assalaamu-alaikum,
Dear brothers and sisters – here is the schedule for programming in Ramadan:
1st night of Tharaveeh will be on Tuesday 15th of May:1st fast will be on Wednesday the 16th of May. There will be a short khatira after 8 raka’ath each night.
Baby sitting will be in the old masjid every night. Tharaveeh will be live telecast to the old masjid building. No children will be allowed in the main musalla area.
There will be a community Iftar every Friday and Saturday of Ramadan. Please sign up to support this program.
There will be a Ramadan ‘youth lecture’ every Saturday from 5:30pm till 7pm.
The youth center will be open after 4 raka’ath of Tharaveeh till 11:45pm every night.
Qur’an competition will be on June 2nd from Dhuhr to Asr- please see masjid notice board for competition rules. Award ceremony will be on June 11th
****Masjid Fundraiser – Saturday June 9th – 26th night of Ramadan****
Beginning the 21st night of Ramadan (4th of June there will be a midnight lecture ever night with local scholars leading this effort).
Katham – Al Qur’an will be on the 29th night of Ramadan – June 12th night
Eid Ul Fitr will be on the Friday the 15th of June Inshah Allah
(Eid carnival will be on Sunday June 17th – tickets can be purchased on line)
There will be ‘IAGH staff’ trying to make this a blessed month by helping keep the masjid clean and quiet – please support them so you make this a blessed Ramadan for all of us. STRICTLY NO FOOD IN THE MUSALLA AREA
