We strongly condemn the recent attack on Representative Maryam Khan during a religious holiday prayer. It violates human rights, equality, and democratic values. As Muslim community members, we offer support and solidarity to Representative Khan and her family. Acts of hate have no place in our society, and it’s our collective responsibility to stand against them. We urge all faith communities, elected officials, and law enforcement to denounce such acts, promote diversity, and foster a harmonious society. We’re ready to provide assistance and resources to support the victims and combat racism. Together, we can create meaningful change for a society of dignity and respect.
